A man has been named and charged following a stabbing in an Oxfordshire town centre.
Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Banbury.
Police officers were called to the junction of Butchers Row and the High Street at 12.20am on Sunday, September 1.
A man in his 20s was "found with stab wounds" and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a "stable condition".

Thames Valley Police have now identified and charged a 46-year-old man in relation to the stabbing.
Niko Gjika of McKeevor Place, Banbury was charged with one count each of Section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article today (Friday, September 6).
A spokesperson for the force on Friday morning said: “Gjika was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.”
Previously a 37-year-old has been arrested in connection with the investigation with the force confirming on Tuesday, September 3 that the arrested man has been released on police bail until November 25.
A section of the Market Place in Banbury was cordoned off by police on Sunday morning following the incident.

Earlier this week a spokesperson for TVP said: "We are still appealing to any witnesses, or anyone with footage or information to contact us."
