A Chinnor resident has celebrated her 100th birthday by taking a trip on an historic steam train.
Frances was accompanied by friends and staff from Hempton Field Care Home for the visit to The Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway.
She received an afternoon tea while aboard the train, which is also marking its 100th year, as well as a specially decorated table with cards and balloons.
Having grown up in the area, Frances used to ride the train regularly.
Jocelyn Walang, general manager at Hempton Field, said: "We’re delighted to be celebrating a truly remarkable woman as she reaches this amazing milestone.
"Frances is such a popular resident who always has an interesting tale to tell, and we look forward to hearing many more as she breaks into her next century."
