A VEHICLE was seized in an Oxfordshire village after police found the driver had no insurance or licence.

The Thames Valley Police Rural Taskforce Team stopped the VW Golf on White Horse Hill in Uffington, a village around six miles west of Wantage.

PCs Dollery and Jenkin stopped the vehicle yesterday (September 3) evening and found the driver only held a provisional licence and had no insurance.
