Police confirmed on Tuesday morning that Bailey had been located safely.
The force thanked everyone for their assistance in helping to find him.
Thames Valley Police previously said the 30-year-old had not been in contact with his family for "over a year".
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: "It is unknown where he was last seen but he is believed to be sleeping rough in Oxford city centre and has not been in contact with his family for over a year."
Police guidance on missing people states that the missing person will not be in trouble or be arrested for going missing and it is not wasting police time to report someone missing.
