A TRIAL date has been set for a man accused of causing serious injury by careless driving.
Anthony Jones, of Spencer Gardens, Bicester, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on August 30 charged with one count of causing serious injury by careless or inconsiderate driving.
The 69-year-old is accused of driving carelessly in a Mercedes on the A41 near Blackthorn, Bicester on July 13 last year.

He reportedly caused serious injury to Stefan Drezaliu in a traffic incident. The extent of his injuries are currently unknown.
Jones appeared in court for his further case management hearing.
He is now due back to the same lower court on Friday, December 6 at 2pm for a trial after pleaded not guilty to the offence.
