Firefighters were called out to a organised fireworks display after a stray firework caused a blaze.
Oxfordshire County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service was called to the Abingdon bonfire and fireworks festival site at Dalton Barracks, near Abingdon, on Saturday night (August 31) at 9.40pm.
A number of fire vehicles from Abingdon, Didcot and Wantage fire stations and and a water carrier from Wheatley attended the scene.

Crews extinguished approximately two acres of grass that was alight.
The fire service said the blaze was believed to have been caused by a stray firework from the event.
Crews left the scene at around 11.20pm.
