Travellers have set up camp on a recreation ground for the second time this year.
Police said in a statement on Friday they have received reports of a group of vehicles and caravans parking on Burwell park off Thorney Leys in Witney.
The force said officers are speaking with those involved and liaising with the council to deal with any issues or offences swiftly.

It comes after a group of Travellers set up an illegal encampment on the same park back in May.
They were evicted following action by Witney Town Council, Oxfordshire County Council and the police.
Cllr David Edwards-Hughes said: "It’s disappointing to see that despite the Town Council adding additional fencing to prevent unauthorised access, it seems that this hasn’t prevented this illegal encampment.
"We clearly need to review site security to prevent future incursions."
