Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been seeking out silhouettes.

That was our latest weekly theme and it prompted a series of stunning shots from photographers, many of them taken at sunrise or sunset.

It was very difficult to pick out a winner for photo of the week, but in the end we selected this image from Dave Griffiths of a morning run at sunrise.

Mr Griffiths sent in a series of striking photos which were all worthy winners.

Each week camera club members are given a theme and post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection of photos are chosen to be featured in the Oxford Mail, The Oxford Times and online, and one photo is chosen for the photo of the week.

Occasionally the winning photo is not related to the theme.
