Jeremy Clarkson has hit back at criticism surrounding the price of pints at his new Oxfordshire pub.
The former Top Gear host bought The Windmill pub in Asthill, near Burford for around £1,000,000 and renamed it as The Farmer's Dog.
He opened the doors to the watering hole on Friday to massive queues with tourists continuing to visit throughout the week in the hopes of spotting the 64-year-old.
Not everyone is a fan of the new pub though with one social media user calling out the pub for its pint prices.

“I bet you’ll need to remortgage once you’ve bought a round,” they said.
Mr Clarkson responded: “It’s £5.50 a pint.”
The 64-year-old was also quizzed about whether his pub has the features of other watering holes across the country including a darts board.
“It’s only a pub if you have a darts board,” said another X user.
Mr Clarkson responded: “It does. And bar billiards.”

He also recently spoke about how everything on the menu has been made and produced in Britain apart from the quinine in the tonic.
“We wanted to have that restaurant on the farm last year and we couldn’t, and pubs, they are all for sale,” he said.
“So, we thought instead of building a restaurant we would buy a pub.”
