An Oxfordshire superstore was evacuated yesterday evening following a fire alarm.
Staff and customers were evacuated from Tesco on Lakeview Drive in Bicester yesterday (August 28) at around 7.38pm.
It is understood the store was caused by a false alarm and the store reopened shortly after.
Customer Lukasz Sokalla was shopping in the store at the time it happened.
Ms Sokalla told the Oxford Mail: "The fire alarm broke out, and everyone in the store, both customers and staff, were evacuated through emergency doors.

"Customers had to leave their shopping carts inside the store. It continued going off until 7.55pm.
"At this point it was resolved and people were allowed to get back in to finish shopping."
The store is open and operating as normal today.
The Oxford Mail has contacted Tesco for further information.
