A statement posted by the Thames Valley Police Rural Taskforce on Wednesday evening said: "This Volkswagen Polo was stopped in Berinsfield this afternoon as it was untaxed and uninsured.
"Despite the driver making rubbish threats to ensure 'our bins are never emptied' again, we took the risk and seized his vehicle.
"The driver was reported for the offences."
Berinsfield is a small village around seven miles southeast of Oxford.
