POLICE confirm that a man has been hospitalised after a purported attack in Oxford.
An eyewitness said the incident happened at the junction of Dashwood Road and Spencer Crescent at about 10.30am on Tuesday (August 27).
They reported that a man was attacked by two men in a black car, leading to multiple police vehicles being spotted in the area.

Police have since confirmed a man was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers were called to Spencer Crescent to reports of a disturbance in which a man is reported to have been assaulted and possibly hit with a car.
“The victim a man in his forties was taken to hospital as a precaution. He is no longer in hospital. “Officers are investigating the incident.”
