The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:

MARK FADA, 29, of Wye Close, Bicester, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Bicester on February 13 as well as driving without third-party insurance and driving without a licence. He was fined £300 and disqualified from driving for 18 months. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £120.

HAYLEY COX, 42, of no fixed abode, indicated guilty to 13 counts of theft from a shop from April 14 to July 20 in Oxford. She was jailed for 16 weeks. There were no other orders for costs.

JAHEIM JAMES, 18, of Priory Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article, namely a machete, in Queen Street, Oxford on June 22 this year as well as possession of a Class A drug, namely four wraps cocaine, on the same day. He was given a four-month prison sentence suspended for two years. He was also made subject to electronic monitoring and must complete 30 days of an accredited programme and up to 15 days of rehabilitation activity. A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the machete and drugs. There were court costs of £85.

IVY RUSHER, 38, of The Malthouse, Ashbury, pleaded guilty to failing to care for five cats by failing to provide them a suitable diet, a suitable environment, and failed to protect them from pain, suffering, injury and disease on July 3 last year in Abingdon. She was given a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. She also had to complete 12 months of drug rehabilitation and up to 20 days of rehabilitation activity. She was also disqualified from keeping an animal for five years. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £239.

JAMIES PARKES, 21, of Station Lane, Witney, pleaded guilty to possession of a Class B drug in Witney, namely cannabis, on July 24 this year. He was fined £50 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the drugs. There was a victim surcharge of £20.

CHAD KEYES, 19, of Annesley Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Marston Road, Oxford on July 25 this year with 56 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months, reduced by 14 weeks, and fined £200. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £80.
