A COURT hearing has taken place for a man accused of raping a woman in Cardiff.
Tayfun Bekar, of Pensclose, Witney, has been charged with one count of raping a woman 16 years of age or over.
The 41-year-old is accused of raping a woman on August 11 last year in Cardiff. The woman cannot be named for legal reasons.

Reportedly, he sexually assaulted the woman when she did not consent and he did not believe she was consenting.
Bekar appeared at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on August 20 for his first hearing after being charged under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
His case has now been sent to Cardiff Crown Court with his next proceeding to be heard on September 16 in the morning.
