There will be a range of offers and prizes available when a new Iceland warehouse store opens in Bicester next month.

The Food Warehouse, an offshoot of retail chain Iceland Foods, will open on Launton Road Retail Park on September 3.

Established in 2014, The Food Warehouse stores are often double the size of traditional Iceland stores.

Offering a much larger range of goods, the stores are designed to look like a warehouse, with wide shopping aisles and large spaces.

To mark the store opening, the first 100 customers in line will receive £1,000 worth of The Food Warehouse vouchers.

There will also be complimentary trays of Ferrero Rocher chocolates given to the first 200 customers going through the checkouts.

The new store adds to Iceland's presence in Bicester, as it already has a traditional store on Sheep Street.

For opening day, The Food Warehouse will have seven deals available to customers across the store.

Pepsi Max cans, Velvet classic quilted toilet tissue, Yorkshire Tea bags, Pot Noodles, Walkers classic variety multipack crisps, BoxSurf laundry powder tropical lily, and Cadbury’s multipack chocolate bars will all be discounted on the store's first day.

Additionally, those who join the queue before 7.30am on September 3 will receive a raffle ticket which will see them entered into a free prize draw, with five winners given the chance to take part in a supermarket sweep-style challenge.

Each customer will have the entire store to themselves for two minutes and will get to fill their trolley with whatever they would like.

Before the doors open at 7.50am, more winners will be selected for 10 further prizes, including two-in-one blender and grinders and air fryers.

Customers will also be invited to guess how many sweets are in the jar for a chance to win a double drawer air fryer.

Kristian Barrett, group retail director at Iceland Foods, said: "We’re very excited to be opening our new Bicester store, ensuring even more local residents can get their hands on market-leading deals, alongside a brilliant range of frozen, grocery and fresh foods.

"We’re hard at work getting everything set up and ready to go and we can’t wait to open our doors to the local community."

The Food Warehouse store, which is expected to deliver around 11 new jobs, will be open from 8am to 8pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

It will offer exclusive Food Warehouse ranges such as Slimming World, Cathedral City, TGI Fridays and more, as well as multi-buy deals.
