Oxfordshire schools said they are "delighted" and "incredibly grateful" after receiving donations of iPads from a languages college.

EF International Language Campuses has donated 30 refurbished iPads to schools including North Kidlington Primary School, Dr South's CE Primary School, in Islip, and St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, in Kidlington, with more set to follow.

The initiative aims to provide pupils with the necessary tools to thrive academically, fostering a more inclusive and equitable learning environment.

It also extends the lifespan of the equipment, helping to support sustainability goals.

Julieann Exley, headteacher at St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, said the "generous donation" of 10 iPads will "greatly enhance students’ learning experience and help integrate more technology into classrooms".

She added: "We are incredibly grateful for EF’s kindness and commitment to education.”

Co-headteacher at Dr South's CE Primary School, Helen Watson, said: "We are delighted to have received these iPads from EF, which will support the learning of children in our school."

As it looks to engage with and support the community, EF hopes the donations will support its mission of "opening the world through education and creating a positive community impact".

Director of operations at EF International Language Campuses, Melissa Soto, said: "At EF, we strive to positively impact people and communities.

"By closely working with local schools and communities, we aim to contribute in any way we can."
