A car fire on the A34 has led to motorists being stuck in standstill traffic.
The A34 was closed southbound between the Tothill and Bullington due to a vehicle fire on Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesperson for National Highways, after the incident was dealt with, said: "The A34 has re-opened southbound between the B4640 and A303 following a vehicle fire.
"Lane 1 (of 2) remains closed. Lane 2 is now open.

Traffic was also bad further up over the Oxfordshire border as motorists were left in standstill traffic in Oxford too.
