Police have revealed why a major road near a Tesco superstore in Oxfordshire was taped off.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon after the A41 was completely closed off between the two roundabouts in Bicester.
This was near to the Tesco superstore on Lakeview Drive with AA reporting at the time that a multi-vehicle crash had taken place in the area.
Both directions of the road both ways from Oxford Road (Esso Roundabout) to A4421 Seelschied Way were shut down by officers.

Thames Valley Police has now confirmed to the Oxford Mail that the incident was a multi- vehicle crash.
Officers said that the collision was damage only and that there were no serious injuries to those involved.
