POLICE are appealing for information after an offender tried to lure a woman into his car in Thame.
Between 7.35pm and 7.45pm on Tuesday (August 20) the victim, a woman in her thirties, exited the X20 bus at the bus stop on Shabbington Turn, A418, when she was approached by the offender.
The offender tried to entice her to enter his vehicle but the victim declined and continued walking.

They then followed the victim in their vehicle, driving closely to the curb, and slammed his brakes in front of her and told her to get in his car.
She then ran away and the offender drove away from the scene at speed.
The offender is described by police 'as an Asian man, aged between 30 and 45-years-old, with short dark hair and facial hair'. He was driving a white vehicle.

Investigating officer PC Heather Day said: “We conducting a thorough investigation and are appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident.
“We are asking anyone with information to please get in touch either by contacting us online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240400851.
“The A418 Thame Road is an incredibly busy link road between junction 8A of the M40 and Thame, and we are looking to identify anyone who was driving along the road between the hours of 7.30pm and 8pm, particularly those with any footage, such as dash cam to identify the offender."
