A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with firearms incidents that happened in Oxford earlier this month, police have confirmed.
Thames Valley Police arrested the man from Oxford arrested on "suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life" yesterday (Thursday, August 22).
The man arrested remains in custody.
The arrest relates to incidents between 4.30pm on August 11 and 1.30am on August 12 on Weymann Terrace and Warren Crescent in Headington.
Investigating officer DI Krista Thompson said: “We still believe these firearms incidents to be connected and targeted, with no threat to the wider public.

“I understand that this may be alarming but fortunately these incidents are extremely rare.
