Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been out in the open air taking photos of butterflies.
That was the latest weekly theme for club members and they sent in a variety of colourful shots from around the county.
It was perhaps surprising that there weren’t more photos taken at the butterfly house at Blenheim Palace in Woodstock.

Ann Faulkner did visit the tourist attraction and took a photo of her granddaughter with butterflies.
Other club members took pictures of butterflies in the fields or in their gardens.
Each week club members are allocated a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A number of photos are selected to be featured in the Oxford Mail, The Oxford Times and online.
And one photo - nearly always relating to the theme - is selected as the photo of the week. The next theme is silhouettes.
