POLICE have confirmed that a road has reopened after a crash involving a motorcyclist.
Thames Valley Police closed the A417, between Rowstock and Wantage near to the Hare at Hendred, at about 7am today (August 22).
A 'significant portion' of the road was closed whilst officers dealt with a crash involving a motorcyclist.

Eyewitnesses stated it was taking two hours to get to their destinations with the road closure in place.
Police have now confirmed the road has reopened.
A spokesperson for the force said: "As per our policy on road traffic collisions, we don’t routinely provide further details unless we are contacted by our Roads Policing Department.
"However, I can confirm the road has since re-opened."
