Vikings will be taking over at a museum in Buckinghamshire this weekend.
Over the Bank Holiday weekend, on August 25 and 26, a Viking warband will raid Chiltern Open Air Museum in Chalfont St Giles.
From 10am until 5pm on both days, they will take over the museum and "use it as a base of operations to raid further into Saxon territory".
The museum said "they have ransacked the village, taken prisoners and are busy plotting their next move".
For visitors, there will be re-enactments and battles, the chance to visit the camp and enjoy music and crafts such as cloth dyeing, storytelling, a drum workshop, and activities from the Viking Age.
There will then be a chance to see who wins a battle between the Vikings and the Christian forces of Wessex.
