A classic car show featuring over 300 cars is returning to an Oxfordshire village next month.

Blackthorn Classic Car Show will take place on Sunday, September 1 from 11am until 5pm, and according to the website it will be the "biggest event to date".

The event will feature 350 vehicles, including classic cars, tractors and bikes, and organisers say there will be "something for everyone".

There will also be a variety of food vendors, including Ghurka Street Food, Sizzlers Street Food, Howe and Co Fish and Chips, and Tribal Chilli.

Attendees will be able to enjoy the entertainment suitable for the whole family, including lawn games such as jumbo jenga, a bouncy castle, electric go-karting and a rally experience.

The event will be dog friendly and will have visitor parking in an additional field next to the main show field.

Show cars need to arrive at the venue and be in place by 10.15am.

The event has proved popular in the past, with the 2016 event attracting more than 1,500 visitors.

Last week organisers announced the event had reached capacity for registered vehicles and closed applications for new ones on Sunday (August 18).

In a post on Facebook this week organisers urged visitors to use the bins provided at the event.

They said: "This show is on a farmers field that will [have] short grass.

"Please help us keep this clean and put litter in the bins provided."
