AN Amazon delivery driver is accused of begging a woman to look at his penis hours after she had returned home from a funeral, a jury has heard.

Luke Yates, 23, has been charged with three counts of exposure after allegedly showing his genitals to three women he had dropped parcels off for.

It is alleged that on November 16 and twice on January 11, 2022, Yates had asked to use the toilets at the resident's home across Oxfordshire before indecently exposing himself.

His Amazon delivery van, which is tracked, showed the vehicle being parked at the Oxfordshire addresses at the time of the offences and the parcels were marked as delivered.

However, Yates has denied the offences. He is now on trial at Oxford Crown Court.

On Tuesday (August 20), one of the alleged victims said that Yates had allegedly begged her to look at his penis, claiming there was ‘white stuff’ around it.

She said: “I was just looking at the wall. He asked me to touch it and have a look at it. [I said] no, no way.

“He got agitated and said ‘Why not, why not? You’ve been a nurse, I’ve got all this white stuff around it’.

“He got angry and he left. I just told him no, no way I was looking at it and he got angry and agitated.”

The woman said she phoned police the next day after staying with her neighbour overnight. “I was so scared and nervous,” she said.

She claims that a month prior, Yates had allegedly delivered a parcel at her home and had similarly asked to use the toilet and for a cup of tea.

However, she claims her grandson then entered the kitchen preventing him from potentially exposing himself.

The woman could be heard crying in the dock as she recalled what reportedly took place in January 2022.

In cross-examination, defence barrister Gareth Jones asked the woman what sort of time she had returned from the funeral and when Yates had reportedly entered her home.

She said it must have been between 3pm or 4pm.

However, Mr Jones pointed out that the Amazon delivery van, which is tracked, showed as being parked outside the Headington home between 5.08pm and 5.03pm.

He said: “I’m going to suggest you’re wrong about the time…and you’re wrong about what happened inside the house.”

The woman admitted she ‘maybe’ wrong about the timing but stated she is not wrong about her account of what happened.

The trial of Yates, of Sleaford, Lincs, continues this week.
