AN 80s tribute band returned to Bicester at the weekend to rock crowds in a sell-out show.
Sledgehammer, who describe themselves as 'Oxfordshire's finest 80s tribute band', performed at Garth Park in Bicester on Saturday, August 17 and will be performing again on Saturday, August 31.
According to the band, Saturday's gig sold out months ago, with the performance at the end of the month also being a sell-out show.
The band has been performing since 2019, making this year their fifth year.

The band is comprised of Russ Fray on lead vocals, Simon Bays on lead guitar, Alex Grout on bass and Phil Heard playing the drums.
Mr Bays described Saturday's gig as 'fantastic'.
He said: "It was a fantastic gig on Saturday, loads of people in fancy dress, great crowd singing and dancing from the get go."
He said that the weather was "glorious", making it "better than last year".
"We enjoyed as one of the best events we've experienced there. The crowd were great and we loved feeding off their energy," he added.
The performance on Saturday, August 31 will also take place at Garth Park from 7pm until 10pm, with gates opening at around 6pm.

Speaking on the next performance, Mr Bays said: "We're very excited and very much looking forward to it.
"It's one of our favourite events of the year and we always bring the best show we can.
"We've got a different setlist too, so that the people who are coming to both the dates get to see and hear something a little different.
"It should be pretty spectacular."
