AN Amazon delivery driver has been accused of flashing his genitals to women after dropping off their parcels – including at an elderly resident's home.

Luke Yates, 23, has been charged with three counts of exposure after allegedly flashing his penis to women he had dropped parcels off for.

It is alleged that on November 16 and twice on January 11, 2022, Yates had asked to use the toilets at resident's home before indecently exposing himself.

His Amazon delivery van, which is tracked, showed the vehicle being parked at the Oxfordshire addresses at the time of the offences and the parcels were marked as delivered.

However, Yates has denied the offences. He is now on trial at Oxford Crown Court.

During the trial opening on Monday (August 19), it was heard that on November 16, 2022, Yates had allegedly dropped off a parcel at a residents home for elderly people.

The victim, who passed away in January this year, said that the delivery driver had asked if they could use her toilet.

She advised they use the communal toilet downstairs but the driver stated he was desperate.

“I heard him call out saying there was something wrong with the tap,” she said. “He then opened the door and was in full view of me with his penis in his hand.

“He was smiling at me in a provocative way. I didn’t see if he was erect of not as I really didn’t want to look.

“I was very shocked about what happened.”

On January 11, after Yates had allegedly delivered a parcel to a woman, the prosecution state he asked if he could use her toilet

He then reportedly asked for a cup of tea and as she was making it, he exposed himself.

The prosecution said: “He followed her into the kitchen and was speaking about his route and said he would show her it on his phone but when she looked around his erect penis was out.

“He said it was an accident.”

On the same day, he allegedly repeated this action and asked if he could use the toilet and if the women could make him a cup of tea.

“When he came back [from the toilet] she immediately noticed he was exposed,” said the prosecution.

“The delivery driver appeared to be touching himself and made groaning noises at the same time.

“When he noticed she was avoiding him he apologised and said ‘it keeps popping through’,

The trial of Yates, of Sleaford, Lincs, continues this week.
