An Oxfordshire pensioner who was involved in a six-vehicle horror crash in Oxfordshire has sustained facial fractures.
Emergency services raced to Benson Lane, also known as the A4074, at around 3.10pm on Thursday afternoon after reports of a serious collision near Crowmarsh Gifford.
Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service all attended the scene.
Six vehicles were involved in the major crash near Wallingford with several cars spotted at the scene with excessive damage including smashed glass and torn metal.

The police force confirmed four people had been injured in the crash and one person was seriously injured.
TVP has now confirmed that the victim seriously injured was a woman in her eighties who was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for the force said: “She sustained serious facial fractures and a broken arm.
“She is still in hospital at this time.”
