Sixth Form students in Wantage aced their A-level exams and celebrated on results day.
At King Alfred’s Academy Sixth Form on Portway, nearly 30 per cent of all grades were A* or A.
Two students achieved four A*, 20 students achieved at least one A* and over 45 students achieved at least one A.
Headteacher Jonathan Smart said: “‘This is an impressive set of results for the academy. These outcomes are an improvement on our results from last year, and a clear indication of the direction of travel for the results obtained by students who attend the Academy’s Sixth Form.
