An Abingdon electrician has been accused of strangling a woman in Swindon and controlling behaviour.
Paul Watson, 44, is accused of intentional strangulation from August 27, 2023 and engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour towards the same woman on June 1, 2022.
According to court documents, the alleged behaviour involved becoming “excessively jealous”, leading to a “serious effect” on the woman.
Watson, of Spenlove Close, Abingdon, pleaded not guilty to both offences at Swindon Crown Court on Friday, August 16.
He is listed on Companies House as the active director of PW Electrics (Oxford) Limited, occupied as an electrician.
The trial is due to start on September 26.
