TWO people have sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle crash this morning (August 18).
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning on Abingdon Road, adjacent to The Green, in Steventon.
Eyewitnesses reported the road being closed in both directions from about 7am.

Thames Valley Police have since confirmed two people were injured but it is 'not life-threatening'.
A spokesperson said: "This is a single vehicle (motorcycle) collision, and two people have sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"We would ask anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have dash-cam footage of the incident to contact Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference 450 (18/8)."
The force confirmed that the road was due to re-open anytime from 9.40am.
