A BUSY road has been closed across the Oxfordshire border and motorists are being warned to expect delays.
The A43, both ways between the M1 and the A5, has been closed since Friday (August 16) and is expected to remain closed until Monday morning (August 19) not far from Silverstone.
AA Traffic and Travel News reports that the road has been closed due to "weekend roadworks".

The closure is near the M1 near Junction 15A by Towcester and the Northampton Services.
Drivers are advised to ensure they have planned ahead and checked a different route to their destinations across today and tonight (August 18 and 19).
The road was also closed last weekend which caused disruption for those travelling to Oxfordshire from Northampton and from the M1.
