The team will be conducting a number of flypasts as part of the celebrations at places including Toronto, Montreal and the Niagara Falls.

Wing commander Adam Collins said: “We’re looking forward to the prospect of meeting countless people, performing our new diamond season display and creating many memories and great moments at air shows and events."

Earlier this week, the team flew over Wallingford on the way to the Eastbourne International Airshow Display on Thursday.

The Red Arrows team was founded in 1965 at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire.

Since being formed, the team has performed displays in 57 countries, which includes the United States, China and India.
