Tickets have gone on sale for the Great Skate at Blenheim Palace, where for the first time ever visitors will be able to skate on real ice.
Taking place from November 15 until January 1, The Great Skate is a covered rink set within the historic Great Court, which is part of the Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site’s Christmas festivities.

It also features the illuminated after-dark outdoor trail as well as an outdoor Christmas market and a fairground.
Christmas at Blenheim Palace carries on inside the Palace State rooms which are being reimagined as a Neverland adventure.
Organisers say The Great Skate promises an "extra festive experience for all ages" at the Woodstock palace.
