Oxford Mail Camera Club members have been trying out a special technique - motion blur photography.
This is a technique that involves using a slow shutter speed to allow moving subjects to blur.
There were lots of contenders for photo of the week for this week’s theme but in the end we picked Ian Marriott’s picture taken in Broad Street.

It shows a group of tourists on the left who appear to be listening to a guided tour, while on the right a contractor rushes past.
Mr Marriott took lots of different pictures for this week’s theme and lots of his photos featuring athletes would also have been worthy winners.
Each week camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.
A selection of images are then featured in the Oxford Mail and in The Oxford Times and online.
The next theme is butterflies.
