A man has been named and charged following a knife incident which led to an Oxford street being taped off by police.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) received a report of a public order incident at an address in Horspath Road, Cowley, at around 1pm on Wednesday, August 14.
Officers cordoned off White Road and Horspath Road with tape and there was a large police presence at the scene.
TVP launched an investigation and arrested a man from the local area in relation to the incident as the street was taped off.

Mark Paterson of Horspath Road was charged with one count of affray and two counts of possession of a knife in a private place on Thursday (August 15).
The 33-year-old has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today (August 16).
