KARL JAMES, 50, of Caldecott Road, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to one count of theft by finding between October 4 and November 3 last year in Abingdon after being caught with £8,557.90 of money belonging to Johns Prior. He was jailed for 26 weeks, suspended for 18 months. He also needs to complete 12 months of drug rehabilitation activity and six months of mental health treatment. James needs to complete 10 days of rehabilitation activity and to pay £4,250 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

CRAIG JORDAN, 44, of Blenheim Farmhouse and Upper Oddington, Moreton-in-Marsh, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Burford on November 27 last year with 182 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood as well as one count of driving without due care and attention in Chipping Norton Road. He was given a community order to complete 100 hours of unpaid work. He was disqualified from driving for 22 months, reduced by 22 weeks for a course. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

DAVID RIVERS, 55, of John Snow Place, Headington, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating in Oxford on December 17 last year. ADRIANA PODINA, 43 of Feathers Lane, Wraysbury, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for testing in Abingdon on July 3 this year, driving on the M4 near Hungerford without third party insurance, and driving while disqualified. They were jailed for 18 weeks, suspended for 24 months. They also need to complete 12 days of rehabilitation activity and 240 hours of unpaid work.
