The 67-year-old was accused of slapping the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on her bottom as well as stroking her inner thigh on two different occasions – both allegedly took place on trips away from the home.
Stevenson denied the offences and was on trial at Oxford Crown Court.
On Thursday morning (August 15), a jury found him not guilty of both counts.
