Famous faces from music, TV and the culinary world will entertain audiences at a festival in Oxford over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
The UK's biggest travelling food and music festival series, Foodies Festival, is returning to Oxford's South Parks from August 24 - 26.
Following record visitor numbers in 2023, this year's festival will feature a star-studded line-up of celebrity chefs and chart-topping music stars.
The three-day event will host live cooking demonstrations by chefs including MasterChef champion, Dhruv Baker, Great British Bake Off The Professionals 2024 star, Hayley Tully, and TV chef Nigel Brown.
Also in attendance will be MasterChef: The Professionals finalist, Kasae Fraser, Great British Menu star and chef-patron, Paul Welburn, and ITV's This Morning wine expert, Joe Wadsack.
Many of the regions most-highly acclaimed Michelin and multi-award-winning chefs will also appear.
This includes chef-patron, Mike North, from Michelin-starred The Nut Tree Inn, Murcott, chef-patron, Richard Craven, from Michelin-starred The Royal Oak, Whatcote, and cookery school director, Mark Peregrine, from The Raymond Blanc Cookery School.
Duncan James from Blue, who are one of several famous music acts set to perform at the festival, said: "We’re all looking forward to joining the Foodies Festival in Oxford this year.
"The crowd is always buzzing and up for a great day and night out. A definite highlight is the lovely food from around the world.
"We’ve enjoyed some amazing dishes on previous visits and can’t wait to try some more."
Music will also come from Grammy nominated Sister Sledge featuring Kathy Sledge with favourites such as 'We are Family' and 'He’s the Greatest Dancer', and the Symphonic Ibiza with iconic Ibiza dance anthems, live vocals, DJ and live orchestra.
Festival director, Sue Hitchen, said: "Our visit to Oxford is a real highlight of the tour. It’s such a beautiful city and we always receive a warm welcome.
"We’re delighted to host so many superb chefs and high profile music acts."
The festival's Chefs Theatre will have celebrities cooking their signature dishes, while over in the Cake and Desserts Theatre, patisserie chefs and star bakers will produce sweet treats.
Meanwhile, the Kids Cookery School will see Foodies SuperChefs making cooking fun for the younger attendees.
The event will also feature champagne, beer, cider, cocktail and wine-tasting masterclasses in the Drinks Theatre, presented by drinks experts from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
Visitors to the Foodies Festival will have the opportunity to explore the latest food trends in the Shopping Village, meet local producers in the Artisan Market, and sample unusual dishes at the Feasting Tent.
