Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the opening date for his Oxfordshire pub.
The former Top Gear host revealed he had recently purchased The Windmill which is nestled in five acres of countryside near Burford.
He reportedly paid “less than £1 million” for the watering hole but has recognised that lots of work needs to be done to get the location up to scratch.
Yet Mr Clarkson has now revealed that the pub will be opening as early as next week.
Don’t worry if your A level results aren’t what you were hoping for. I got a C and two Us, and here I am, 46 years later, with my own pub.
It opens next weekend if you fancy dropping in.

In what has become somewhat of a ritual, the 64-year-old will always make a post on A-Level results day.
Posting to X on Thursday morning, Mr Clarkson said: “Don’t worry if your A level results aren’t what you were hoping for.
“I got a C and two Us, and here I am, 46 years later, with my own pub.
”It opens next weekend if you fancy dropping in.”
