A Thame man has been named one of the strongest in the UK.
Ashley Roff, 24, from Thame has been ranked 120th in the official rankings of the Strongman competition.
Mr Roff is 6 ft 1 in and weighs 120kg.
He has won an award for walking 1,085 miles, the equivalent of 41 marathons, consecutively.
A spokesman for Mr Roff said: "Strongman is a dangerous sport and can take years off your life but he believes you can achieve anything you want to achieve with hard work and dedication.
"Being ranked 120 in the official Strongman rankings is an unbelievable accomplishment, especially for someone who’s only been doing Strongman for a number of years and works a full-time job in education."
