Plumbing is the most sought-after trade job in Oxford, according to a new study.
The study by flooring specialists Mr Sander, analysing Google search data, has revealed the trade jobs in highest demand based on average keyword search volumes.
Plumbing proved to be the most popular trade in Oxford with an average monthly search volume of 52.50.
An average hourly salary of £16.49, along with minimal educational requirements, make it an attractive career choice.
Bricklaying also held strong interest, coming in at number two on the list.
The average yearly income for a bricklayer is £31,851, although this is dependent on several factors, and entry to the field is possible via training courses or an apprenticeship.
The role of an electrician, with an average hourly earning of £17.51, recorded an average monthly search volume of 40.83.
Painting and decorating and the trade of being a carpenter also made the top five.
Anthony Miller, CEO of Mr Sander, said: "These trends in job searches show a continued interest in skilled trade jobs.
"Skilled trade jobs like those in the study are in high demand, and the best way to begin a career in these roles is usually through education and hands-on training.
"These approaches not only prepare individuals for successful careers in these jobs but also ensures that they are well-equipped to take advantage of the high earning potential and opportunities for progression."
