JORDAN BASKERVILLE, 30, of Parsons Place, Oxford, pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to an animal on November 17 last year. He admitted to throwing a dog across a room after pushing its head into a sofa. He was given a community order to complete 80 hours of unpaid work. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.

JOYCE NJORGE, 54, of Cranham Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen for analysis on March 15 last year in Bevington Road, Oxford. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by three months for costs, and fined £108. There were court costs of £380 and a victim surcharge of £43.

ALEXANDRU-MIHAI BANCIU, 34, of Bartlemas Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to theft of a pedal cycle on June 29 this year from a person unknown. He also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to court/police bail on July 25 this year. He was given a community order to complete 12 months of drug rehabilitation and 15 days of drug rehabilitation activity. There were court costs of £85.

LUKE O’BRIEN, 45, of Oaks View Park, Murcott, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft from a shop and two counts of possession of a Class A drug. On July 2 he stole items from Poundland in Bicester and on July 4 he stole £47.08 of items from Sainsburys in Bicester. On July 27, he was found in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin. He was ordered to pay £60 in compensation and was jailed for 24 weeks. There were no other orders for costs.

KEANO CARSON, 26, of Peel Close, London, was found guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis on November 9 last year in Oxford Road, Kidlington. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £692. There were court costs of £325 and a victim surcharge of £276.

BENJAMIN SPIERS, 41, of Grundy Crescent, Kennington, pleaded guilty to drug driving in Eynsham on February 15 this year on the A40. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £800. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £320.

ANDREW MARSHALL, 39, of Corner Meadow, Farnborough Road, pleaded guilty to burglary other than dwelling. On June 27 this year he trespassed into the Oxford Crown Court and stole a laptop computer to a value unknown. He was given a community order to complete six months of drug rehabilitation treatment with Turning Point and 15 days of rehabilitation activity. There were also court cost of £85.
