The first homes at a development near Didcot have been unveiled.

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has launched its first homes at Valley Park, with prospective buyers invited to visit the sales office.

Show homes at the site are due to launch at the end of September and are part of phase one of the development, which is called Primrose Gardens.

It will feature 246 homes, offering a blend of one and two bedroom apartments and two, three, and four bedroom houses.

All homes have been designed with a variety of materials to ensure a "consistent and unified" architectural style.

Public green spaces, footpaths and cycle links are planned to boost connectivity within Primrose Gardens and the surrounding area.

Sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, Roz Wells, said: "We are very excited to launch the first in a range of beautifully designed homes at Valley Park.

"This development provides an excellent opportunity for homebuyers to join a thriving new community with outstanding amenities and transport links."

Valley Park will include two new primary schools, community buildings, shops, sports facilities, playing fields, and green open spaces.

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties received approval for the development, which will be located adjacent to its Great Western Park development, from the Vale of White Horse District Council.

Work on the site began in May.
