There were major delays on a key Oxford road as firefighters using breathing apparatus tackled a car fire.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to reports of a vehicle on fire on the A34 northbound exit slip road on the approach to Hinksey Hill Interchange at around 11.35am today (August 9).
The slip road was closed, leading to long delays with all Thames Travel and Oxford Bus Company bus services delayed due to a diversion.
