We have taken a look back through the Oxford Mail archives and found nine interesting photos captured in 1990.
The county saw a Royal visit from Princess Diana to Oxfordshire County Council while the then Prince Charles helped his polo team to a narrow victory in Kirtlington.
Other images show Oxford River Scouts who filled nearly 90 black sacks with rubbish during a four-hour clean-up effort in and around the Riverside Centre at Donnington Bridge.
While, nine gymnasts from Gosford Hill School in Kidlington proudly represented the Southern Region.
And festival-goers gathered in their numbers dressed in bright and vibrant costumes at the Great Rollright Festival.
