West Oxfordshire District Council has donated its old laptops to charity so they can be given to those in need.
The council's devices were sent for refurbishment and data wiping before being donated to Getting Oxfordshire Online.
Leader of the council, councillor Andy Graham, said: "It’s hard for many of us to believe that there are still people who are digitally excluded in our communities.
"We can take for granted how IT can enable a whole world of possibilities that not all people are able to access.
"I am delighted that we can donate this IT equipment to make people’s lives easier to manage, help them to keep in touch with friends and family or complete the weekly food shop.
"Managing your personal life or a household has become increasingly difficult, and I’m pleased that we are able to do our part to help.”
The donated equipment will be ‘end of life’ for commercial use but will still be suitable for most personal uses.
Ben Tuppin from Getting Oxfordshire Online added: "We’re hugely grateful for the ongoing support of West Oxfordshire District Council.
"These laptops are life changing for the people and families which receive them, helping them complete education, find work, access healthcare and basic services, and benefit from the richness of our online world.
“Our impact report at Getting Oxfordshire Online includes many stories of examples of the differences these devices are making.”
