Phil Foden has been spotted fishing with England teammate Eberechi Eze not long after his angling trip to Oxfordshire.

The Manchester City star had been pictured by Linear Fisheries in Witney earlier this month with some huge catches.

Foden landed “a number of nice fish using a combination of zigs and solid bags", said the Oxfordshire team.

Just a few days later and Foden has been angling again but this time with an England teammate, Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.

The 26-year-old forward posted a photograph on social media alongside Foden and a fish which he revealed was his first-ever catch.

“Caught my first fish,” said Eze on Instagram.

Foden is enjoying an extended break after England made it all the way to the final of the European Championship.

Linear Fisheries’ general manager Chris Blunt previously said: "He’s a good angler and always has time when anglers pop over to say hello to him.

"He's a top lad who loves his fishing."

The 24-year-old’s partner Rebecca also gave birth to their third child during the tournament and he briefly left the England camp to be with her.

He is set to rejoin his Manchester City teammates soon ahead of the new Premier League season which kicks off on Friday, August 16.

Pep Guardiola’s side will take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that weekend, looking to secure a record fifth league title in a row.
