A £31 million, two-year contract extension has been awarded to a company providing specialist support services at RAF Brize Norton.
The UK Ministry of Defence has extended the contract with Serco, the international provider of services to governments.
The original three-year contract began in December 2021, with Serco undertaking logistics, engineering and airfield activities.
The company has being working with the RAF at Brize Norton for more than 25 years.
The contract employs more than 380 people with more than 160 being ex-service personnel.
Doug Umbers, managing director of Serco's UK defence business, said: "Serco is delighted to have the opportunity to continue to support the RAF at Brize for another two years.
"Our team at the airfield works closely with the RAF in a Whole Force Approach, and the contract allows the release of invaluable RAF personnel back to front line duties.
"Our team has been at Brize for over 25 years and has an intimate understanding of the critical role that the base plays for the UK Armed Forces, and will continue to make a positive impact on its future."
RAF Brize Norton is the largest RAF air station, with more than 7,000 personnel based on site.
Its role is to provide rapid global mobility in support of UK overseas operations and exercises, as well as air-to-air refuelling support for fast-jet aircraft.
