The date and location of Oxford’s third major protest this week has been revealed.
More than 600 people attended the demonstration as Asylum Welcome on Magdalen Road on Wednesday evening.
This was the second unity rally to be held in the city by Oxford Stand Up To Racism in the last week after a similar showing at Carfax Tower by Cornmarket Street on Monday.
Hundreds of protesters turned out at both rallies to address the outbreaks of violence and chaos which have been witnessed across the country in recent days.

Following the fatal stabbing of three children in Southport, riots and violent scenes have broken out in various UK towns and cities with an anti-immigration sentiment at the forefront.
Thames Valley Police (TVP) had said prior to the Magdalen Road demo that they would “swiftly deal with” any possible offenders on the night looking to disturb the peace.
There is now set to be a third major protest held in the city by Oxford Stand Up To Racism with the rally being held at the weekend.
